Dear Arnout, thanks for your comment and your encouragement! indeed, MummyMug is a strong name, with the alliteration and the reference to who it is for and why. I also feel the name makes one think of 'caring' - which is what the MummyMug is all about.

Although as you point out - Daddies also drink coffee ;-) I have had that debate with myself and others since I started this process, whether fathers would be turned off from using a mug for mothers. But have come to the conclusion that MummyMug is better than DaddyMug or ParentMug. By keeping the mug itself pure, without any logo printed on it, no father will walk around with . I also plan to make e.g. a gift set of two, a black and a white, as a baby shower gift: like a 'his and her's version.

Nice to get in contact with a fellow entrepreneur; what is your business?

Cecilia

Hi, I think you are spot on with your name MummyMug and would recommend to keep it the same across all markets. Not only will the French be able to pronounce it (in their own typical French way) but also will it give the product a nice international edge. Think about how the French also embraced "Le Big Mac". "Le Weekend" etc etc... Your name is an absolute slam dunk and I congratulate on such a great idea and hope to order one from you soon (although I am a Daddy, I do most of the coffee drinking around the house...). Let me know when you need a distributor in Asia Pacific, I'm an entrepreneur as well and have some ideas on how to expand your business here.

Cheers,
Arnout
